Welcome to Strathmillan School's homepage. Strathmillan School is an early years (K-5) school in Winnipeg, Manitoba. View a map showing our location. We hope that our website provides you with useful information about the school and the many learning situations and activities that are provided at Strathmillan.
Strathmillan Staff dedicate themselves to providing a safe, nurturing and caring environment and to modeling the process of lifelong learning. We take great pride in offering a variety of educational programs designed to meet the needs of students and families in the Strathmillan community.
Your support and involvement at Strathmillan School is vital. Parents who are supportive of their child(ren)'s teacher and who provide complimentary educational experiences, have children who are usually more successful in school. Open and honest communication between the home and school is critical to your child(ren). It tells your child(ren) that we are working together to provide them with the best educational experience available. We encourage you to get involved wherever possible, whether it be in one of our classrooms, on fieldtrips, or with our parent council
At Strathmillan School, we believe that a well rounded educational experience includes social, emotional and physical growth. We therefore encourage all students to become involved in the many co-curricular activities offered. Emphasis at these activities is on co-operation, participation and fair play.
We look forward to working with you and your child(ren). Should you have any questions or comments regarding Strathmillan School, please feel free to contact your child's teacher or the principal.
